Non-traditional wedding dress search

My friend is getting married in the spring and I'm helping her look for dress ideas.
She doesn't know exactly what she wants but she said she's interested in short things and empire waists and she doesn't like bias cut, weird layers/asymmetry, or shiny fabrics. Doesn't have to be white/off white.

Here are examples of dresses that she likes but which aren't quite right.

likes the style but it's not springy enough

She really likes Erin Fetherson who makes stuff like this



Has anyone seen any fabulous dresses recently? Or know of any designers she should check out?

I know some of the D&G fall 2006 collection dresses fit that description - they don't seem to be too easy to find online though - maybe there's a boutique you can visit?
