Does anyone know what the fit of soccer jerseys is like? I am looking to buy a Nike Manchester United soccer jersey, but I'm not sure what size to get. I usually wear either a men's large or xl, depending on brand. However, I've never seen a soccer jersey up close, and I don't know if they're meant to be fitted or loose. Oh, I should mention that I'm buying a MENS jersey, since it's cheaper than the women's. Does anyone know how the sizing on them runs? TIA! Attahced is the link to the jersey.
i think they're meant to fit a bit more fitted than say, football jerseys (so as to see the cute soccer players' muscles better ) and i do think they're sized accordingly. but they're still a little bit boxy. my husband generally wears a medium in regular clothing and has a medium soccer jersey. it's not as tight as his polos or t-shirts, but he's definitely not swimming in it. i usually wear a small in womens' clothing and would probably need a boys' large or xl...i hope that helps some!
can you get the measurements of the actual jersey? or can you return it if it's not quite the right size?
Thanks! Yeah, I think they're meant to be fitted... all the better to see their great bodies with! I don't think I can send it back, however I posted on some soccerforum, and they said that the jersey I want tends to run small. I'd rather have it be too big that too small. :)
