I bought the Saint-Jacques Poignées Longues in the black Epi leather about 7 years ago and I still love it. I don't think you can go wrong with anything from the Epi leather collection. Although Chanel might be a good thought too!

Actually, I think I got a bigger version of it which is more traditionally tote shaped. I really love it, and it is definitely great for work and play.

Hey girl - I recently purchased this Cole Haan bag for the exact same purpose(s) and I looooove it. I get a lot of compliments on it, it fits EVERYTHING and I think that it is trendy, but will stand the test of time as well. The best part? Only $295, hooray!!
