I need a travel outfit for Atlanta. The only thing that I must absolutely carry is the Hand Maid bag.

Not sure which outfit is the *best* one to travel in. Assume coach (though business class is  possible) flying from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

1. DVF dress, Kenneth Cole boots, Hand Maid bag. I love this outfit...but too uncomfy?

2. Rachel Pally dress worn as skirt, H&M loose silk sweater, Ferragamo flats. Definitely comfy but not flattering, right?

3. Rachel Pally dress worn as skirt, Juicy Couture hoodie. Comfy for sure, but I probably shouldn't be falling back into a Juicy hoodie habit at this point, right?

4. something else. any ideas?

I like outfit #1 -- I can't imagine that a knit DVF dress would be too uncomfy.

Even though I love #1, I voted for #3 because it seems more travel appropriate to me.  Everything from the skirt to the jacket to the shoes look super comfortable and super cute.

how about DVF + black jacket + black flats?

more importantly, what is that on the floor behind you?

All the outfits look characteristically cute, but I would definitely go for flats over boots because I always find boots to be SO uncomfortable on planes because you can't just slip them off!

I love outfit #1 but to me it looks like something you could wear to the theatre or to a fancy dinner. I always manage to spill juice or something on me and it's always freezing, so I prefer to wear something very casual and cozy on a plane. I think #3 would be perfect - so cute and comfy.

I agree with the flats with outfit #1.  I don't know when you are flying, but it is probably a little early for boots in Atlanta.  Also, I find boots annoying fly in (having to take them off at security, not being able to take them off on the plane, etc).  And a wrap is always good since it can be really cold on the plane.  I would probably wear # 3 though.

edited for spelling.

I am dying laughing right now.  I was wondering what D was referring to and saw it and it was like "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"  Hahahahahaha...Lilykind, we're laughing with you, not at you.

By the way, I vote #3.  It looks pulled together and cute, but still comfy.  I just don't think you'll be comfortable in boots on a cross-country flight.  I tend to swell a bit when I fly and I just don't think boots would be comfortable.

LMAO that is a massager, but I assure you that IRL it's entirely too large for the purposes that you dirty little minds are thinking.

It's actually destined for the trash.

To the topic at hand...I am worried that wearing the flats with the DVF will make my legs look stumpy since I am only 5' 3" and that dress comes down a little past my knees. I'll take a pic tonight though.

Just a thought but if you're concerned with packing space, you might think about wearing some of your bulkier items on the plane (jeans, jacket of some sort, boots perhaps) to save some room in the suitcase. I almost always wear jeans and some kind of bulkier sweater wrap when I fly, just to save room in my suitcase. (Assuming it's weather appropriate, of course.)

I would wear #1.  I always wear boots on the plane to save packing space, and I never find them uncomfortable.  Do you have a cozy black sweater or wrap you could add?  I always find airports and planes really cold.

i like 2 or 3- 1 seems too fancy to me.  I love jetset style, but i feel like it implies looking sorta thrown together and comfortably fabulous- #1 just doesn't *look* like something someone would be comfortable in on a cross country flight, regardless of whether or not its actually comfortable.  If that makes sense.

I like the dress and flats idea, though I'd go for whatever is most comfortable. When I fly I usually wear a dressier pair of jeans with flats.

I love number three.  Number one is cute, but it doesn't look as comfortable.  You could also switch number three out with a longsleeved tee and a cute wrap.
