silky tanks for underneath sweaters
Permalink Closed

So I have a couple of V-neck cashmere sweaters that I love but might be a little too "Hello, Nurse!" for the office.  Right now I'm just wearing cotton camis underneath them to raise the neckline a bit, but I find my sweater always creeps up my torso during the day and I have to keep pulling it down.  The cashmere-meets-cotton element is creating too much friction, I guess.  Does anyone have suggestions for silky, scoopneck tanks that I can wear instead?  I'm looking for something that wool will glide over nicely ... but it can't be a regular-ol' camisole with lace peeking out at the top.  (Even though we all know that's okay, I might get a "look" from the secretary... ).

Thanks, ladies!

These tanks from banana are cotton, but very sheer and silky smooth. You can't tell in the picture, but they're so sheer you can't really wear them alone. I wore the black one under another top the other day and noticed that it had a sheen to it when lights shine on it (if that helps you understand the texture).
