We haven't discussed... so what did you think? I liked Uli's dress the best and def. thought it deserved to win--I agreed with Nina, it looked like Uli but was definitely different from her other dresses. I was really disappointed in Michael. First of all, sultry, sexy & sensual all mean basically the same thing... hello... and the dress was pretty tacky with the model's entire chest exposed. It definitely didn't fit right. Everything else he's done has been so much better--what gives?
I think I'm the only one but I didn't really like Uli's dress. It looked the same to me as all of her other ones, only shorter. It was cute, yeah, but it didn't really seem special to me.
I loved loved loved Jeffry's dress but it didn't represent his style as a designer. Still, that photo looked straight out of an Anthro catalog or something.
Michael's was ehhh. Loved the color, hated the fit.
Laura's was adorable but she is such a one note.
Can't wait for the reunion and the finale!!

I'm glad that Uli did something different. I love her and am glad she stepped it up to keep the judges from being bored. She kind of reminds me of DVF though, in that she has one signature look that she varies and nails every time. I don't see anything wrong with that, but I know the judges want variety.
Michael...oh dear. That was just bad. I think he may have been thrown for a loop with the different model.
Laura...*yawn* didn't we see that exact dress before?
Jeffrey... someone over on projectrungay said it looked like a little bo peep porn fantasy. I have to agree. That being said, I think it was probably only second to Uli's for something I could see in a fashion spread.
On all four going to the final round. cool. I always thought it was dumb that one person had to go through all of the ordeal of making a collection that wouldn't count/ get shown on tv. I do think they were probably planning on eliminating Uli though, but then couldn't cause she made a great dress.... and they didn't want to take the shit you know they would have gotten for eliminating Michael.
I didn't really get what Michael and Jeffrey where up to. Part of the challenge was to make an outfit that was really a window into who they are as a designer, and they both made dresses that didn't fit with their style at all. That said, I liked Jeffrey's dress, but Michael's was horrific.
I loved Uli's dress from the front, but I didn't really like the view from the back.
I think its cool that all four get to take a shot at winning. I remember last season, there was some talk that the judges thought that Kara Janx collection was the best, but she wasn't eligible to win at that time.

I've always thought this about her, too. Even though within the context of the show, it gets boring to see the same dress all the time, DVF built her career on basically one dress. A very classic, wearable, flattering dress. So I think in the real fashion world, there's definitely nothing wrong with that.
i didn't love any of their dresses... i liked uli's picture more than the actual dress, but i agree that she deserved to win. i'm going back to look at the runway pictures to see if they listened to the judges' criticism. it doesn't look like michael did.
Ugh!! Michael's dress was crap - and the photo he took totally made it look like soft-core porn or something. Not good.
Uli's was the best..but really, she didn't have any competition and it wasn't that much different than all her other designs.
Laura - can she just go home now? I'm sorry, I think everything she's done is so blah. I've seen her types of dresses/clothes a billion and one times. I don't think she has one ounce of innovation.
The neck - horrible. Looked like a costume/snow white outfit.
Uli's dress was nearly the same thing she always does. If Tim didn't say anything it would have been the long breezy dress again. So far she has shown next to zero creativity.
Laura, no surprise...another plunging neckline. When she was sketching wasn't she going to do a blue dress? I was so excited to see her do something with color! Another colorless number.
I liked Jeffrey's dress the best. At least this is a dress that nobody has seen before!
Michael's dress...when he had the model put it on, I thought it wasn't finished because there is a huge section missing at the top! Should have done some sportwear!
