I just got back from the bluefly warehouse sale in soho and the prices are really fantastic. There are lots of vera wang and ABS cocktail dresses for $50. I bought this vera wang dress, which is retailing on the bluefly site for $559. I posted the rest of my things in weekday shopping.

There are lots of shoes and there are large boxes of shoes that are $35 for heels and $25 for flats. There are lots of designers. Lots of coats and jeans, not too many purses.

The sale officially starts tomorrow but i got an email announcing the pre-opening -- anyone can go -- and if you print out the email you get an extra 10% off. PM and I can send you the email.

I was going to go today, too, but I think I'll go tomorrow instead. Did they have a lot of sizes available?

There were a variety of sizes but you have to go through all the racks because nothing is arranged by size. The space is much smaller than the usual bluefly location and I can imagine it being really annoying when crowded. The store opened at noon, i got there around 1:45 and it wasn't crowded. The sales clerks are really helpful and friendly.

I was there for about 90 minutes. I could have done it a lot faster but I had no appointments to keep and was hobbling. I'd budget around an hour to go through all the racks and the shoes.

Thanks for the review!  If I can get done with my work in time today I'm going to head over there...I bet it will be madness on Sat.


 


Update:  I just got back.  They do have a lot of nice party dresses and summer dresses and skirts and a few nice coats. Looks like the shoes had been picked over.  I didn't find anything
