Lately I am finding myself drawn to the color black...and gray.  It is so sleek.  I keep telling myself that it is ok to wear one color alot.  I have noticed that Angelina Jolie (not that she is the greatest role model) wears black all the time and Jennifer Aniston wears it alot too and they always look so put together and fashionable.  However, I watch alot of What Not To Wear and I can just hear Stacy and Clinton ringing in my ears that you should not have too much black in your closet.  What do you think?

meh, i love black.  I don't only own or wear only black at all but I wouldn't be opposed to it.  I wear a ton of grey, navy, red, etc.  i love neutrals and sophisticated colors- i think a lot of it has to do w/living in new york city though.  Maybe i'd feel diff. if i lived in palm beach for example.  I find it easier to find something in black in a lower price range that looks expensive, rather than in a color or print.  And i like drape and silhouette more than color i suppose.

I wear all black at least once a week. It's my go-to when I'm not feeling up to figuring out what to wear in the morning. Black always looks sophisticated and put together, especially for work, so it's a quick and easy way to accomplish all my fashion goals. (For work anyway - I wouldn't wear all black out or on the weekends.)

Lately, everything I'm buying is black or otherwise pretty much neutral. I love black...I look so much more sophisticated and thinner in black than I do in any other color.

I'm very much drawn to neutrals and duller colors now. I think a lot of it has to do with my styke evolving...these feel so much fresher to me than all the bright colors currently in my closet (which is a direct influence of living in CA)

I love black and my closet is full of it. I like to wear and all black outfit and pair it with brighty colored purse, jewelery or shoes. Other then black the majority of my clothes are pink.

I don't think there's a problem with it. I kind of always assumed that everyone had black more than any other color in their closets...maybe that's just because I do! I feel like 75% of my clothes will always look good with black, so I have a lot of it. I don't know that everyone can pull off an all black outfit - I only can on good days and if I pay special attention that I have on enough makeup that it doesn't wash me out. Wearing all black every day might get excessive and look like you're mourning... but I think if its your primary color, that's just fine. It is mine.

Oh, and grey is of course, too. I love grey but I don't have as big an opinion on it because I don't have a lot

Temporarily under the influence of WNTW and fashion magazines, I bought a lot of color in the last three years. Now I'm going back to black and neutrals.

I prefer to wear neutrals, I think I look better in them, I don't get tired of them, and it is so much easier to put together an outfit that looks good. It's easy to add color with a scarf or cami or accessories.

I have wasted lots of money trying to buy a piece to go with a print or colored item. No more, life is too short. I also find I get tired of the season's fashion colors very quickly.

Someone else with more dramatic coloring might feel differently--some people can wear strong vibrant colors and look great. That's fine for them.

Enjoy your black. Anyway, now it's back in fashion.

I love black and charcoal. And dark brown. They are the most flattering colors for me and always look sophisticated. I do wear a lot of green and red, too.
