I have four other Rachel Pally dresses but they're all very different from this one. I can never get this dress at the sample sales so I am seriously considering getting one even though it would still be nearly $200.
Ivory is one of my favorite colors and I definitely own the nude underwear that I'd have to wear underneath.
But, there's a 95% chance I'll be moving to Atlanta soon for the next 3-4 months and I don't have any idea what weather there is like.
hmmmmmmmmmm.I'd sayas long as price isn't a factor get it.
Atlanta get's "cold" but not the cold that I know in New England, or Cincinnati for that matter. When I went to school in South Carolna (which isn't too far from ATL) I was able to wear stuff like that until Middle- end of Nov. and then again in March

Whoa!! What's going on?? How exciting (well, I hope it would be exciting for you. It's not exactly the shopping Mecca, compared to your current state of residence)...

Get it, you will be able to wear it for at least a few more months in ATL. Also, in the dead of winter, you often have really warm days, so you will be able to wear it sporadically then too.
I don't know, babe, it doesn't strike me as being as flattering as your other RP dresses. I don't think it looks especially good on the model. Something about the combination of that waistline and those sleeves... I'm not loving it for almost $200.
I tried this dress on and was not thrilled witht he fit. Something about the sleeves seriously threw me off. Have you tried it on yet? If you have and it looked good one you ( I know we're built completely differently) then I say go for it.

I think that it is ok, but I definitely wouldn't pay $200 for it unless I tried it on and it fit unbelievably well. I would definitely try it on first. I do feel like you could find something that may be better for $200 though.
I don't think it looks very flattering on the model. But obviously that doesn't matter if it looks cute on you. Although I do think it's too pricey for such a casual dress.
