I found this outfit on Style Diary and I was a little iffy on whether or not the belt looks okay where she has it. The reason why I ask is because I have a shirt similar to this and was just thinking the other day if I could wear a belt with it.
something looks weird. I think it might be because it's so gathered under the bust, the belt adds another weird horizontal line? Plus it looks like the shirt is supposed to be kind of flowy, but the belt prevents it

Ditto. Hip slung belts can look good but not with empire type tops IMO.
