Help with picking a paint color for my kitchen!!
Permalink Closed

Does anyone have any color suggestions from Benjamin Moore paints for a kitchen.  I want it to be a warm color in the zone 2 to brighten and not darken the kitchen.  I'm open to any color.  Help - I'm overwhelmed choosing.

You should go to the BM website and they have this section where you can upload a photo of the space you want to do and answer a few questions and then in about 2 weeks they will mail you a packet with 2 different color schemes along with swatches of the colors.

It is the most wonderful thing and it is free!  If you want them to actually virtually paint the colors onto your photos then it costs like $30.  But the free service is amazing if you can wait the two weeks.

We had a red kitchen with black and white floors once, i loved it.

I love yellow kitchens and also that cool 50's looking green color.

Do test out colors on the virtual rooms on the Benjamin Moore website.  Then try at least two of your favorites in the sample size paint.  In real life the colors can look very different, what I thought would be two great colors were actually hideous.

Plus think about your cabinets when selecting a color.  I think it looks good if they contrast each other instead of blending.

That's an awesome idea!  Our home isn't finished yet, but I'm thinking that service is a must!
