Need help finding a rocker

So I'm looking for a rocker that isn't too "nursery room" looking for our nursery..

I've been on the hunt for months! and can't seem to find anything that I'm totally satisfied with..

Here is the top running one right now..

I'd get it in a light tan color...do we like this one? If not can you offer any other ideas? I want something fairly modern looking

I'm willing to spend a max of $650 for the rocker and ottoman...I'll do $700 if it is really fantastic..

so no Noguchi originals please

My friend just got one from Best Chairs and it is sooo comfy!  Her's is a different style, it looks like a club chair, but I was very surprised with how comfortable it was.  The only thing I'd worry about with the style you picked out is if the arms will be comfortable or not.  But the style is totally you.

Well if the arms are comfy on that one then I say go for it, it fits the modern meets traditional style of your nursery really well.

what about the iconic eames rocker:

$379 @ dwr.com (also comes in lime yellow and red orange)

do you have a design within reach nearby? i know it doesn't look comfy, but modern classics like this tend to be WAY more comfy than they first appear.

Ayo, I really like it!  And, it looks nice and cushy for you and your little one.

thanks hc- I do have one near me so I'll check it out. From the pic it definitely doesn't look terribly comfortable but you may be right about looks being deceiving..

thanks kittenheels!
