One of my childhood friends is getting married next weekend, but I need major help in the clothing department. Please help me choose something! It is an afternoon ceremony at a Catholic Church, and then a reception a couple of hours later at an estate. Her wedding website says the attire is cocktail/semi-formal, but that jackets and ties are requested for men. My husband will probably wear a black suit.
Anyway, as much as I would love to buy a new dress or shoes, I really don't have the time or the cash. Can you guys help me make something out of the choices below? Pretty please? Obviously I don't go to weddings very often. Oh, and it's in the 90s here still.
Dresses:
Banana Republic (it's navy). The gold sweater has unfortunately bitten the dust, however.
#2:
Zara (it's knit though, too casual, right?)
#3:
Forever21 (it's cotton, but I could wear a dressier, black camisole underneath)
#4:
I also have a black matte jersey sheath dress that fits really well and hits just below the knee, but it's backless, so I would need to wear a sweater or something.
Possible shoe & clutch choices: Shoes L-R, clockwise: #1: brown leather BCBGirls, #2: Black leather BCBG, #3 black leather Franco Sarto, #4 Silver satin Nina Clutches top to bottom: navy/gold/white fabric/beaded Isabella Fiore, silver Express, turquoise Banana Republic. I also have a plain black leather wristlet.

Though all those dresses look great on you - what a lovely figure you have! - I think the Zara and the shirtdress are too casual for this event. It sounds like a great chance to pull out your dressiest shoes and bag (the Isabella Fiore is beautiful and would work well) and really glam up.
I'd go with the black shoes if you are doing the IF clutch - I think the brown are too casual for this wedding. Or the silver shoes and clutch that you show together with the dress.
I guess you could always wear a cover up (pashmina or whatever) in the church and then wow 'em all with your backless dress at the reception!! That would be fun. ;)
