Thrift Shop/Goodwill Donations

I need to donate a bunch of clothing to Goodwill.  I usually donate to Goodwill because I can get a receipt that I can use for tax deductions.  Do thift shops provide receipts as well?  Goodwill is about 30 minutes away but there is another thrift shop closer by.  Just curious...

In my experience, you can always get a receipt from any thrift, consignment and charity shops! You can always call beforehand to double check.

Yup..they all provid receipts.

I think they all provide receipts (I have been in heavy donation rotation lately).
