polished and refined flat boots - looks for less

i am looking for cute flat boots that are maybe slightly pointy toe and more of a refined style. i would like to wear them to work and spend less than $300. it doesn't have to be completely flat but i'm thinking low low low heel.

i like the ones above from loeffler randall but they are almost $700.

these ones below from cole haan are nice, but i fear my calves may be too large for them.



these are by belle by sigerson morrison (which run notoriously narrow) also $500.


i would appreciate any suggestions for nice, flat boots! thank you!

ps.

also isn't this sigerson boot amazing?? sigh!


it reminds me of the covered tara subkoff boots. not what i need right now but just wanted to post its beauty!

I don't think $495 will be low enough for you to spring for the LR's, but you can get the brown or black suede ones from pink mascara with the luckymag code.

I am mulling them over since they seem like they *should* fit my calves. But they're still $500 when all's said and done.


It's rough too, I feel your pain.

twinkle and halleybird thanks for your recs! i really like those enzo ones especially. will have to check those out in real life.

lilykind thanks for feeling my pain! i may try and steak out those LR ones at bergdorf and see if they go on super sale at the end of the season. i will maybe try them on later this week and let you know how (if) they fit.
