I loved it! I know a lot of you aren't Mer-Der fans, but he made me melt w/his "I'm in love w/you, I have been forever" speech at the end. Oh and Christina was so cute w/Burke in the end!

I felt so bad for Izzie - how sad

Oh and did anyone else burst out laughing when McDreamy said to George " You'll love her soonish?"

I disappointed. First of all, the whole Lizzy/Dennis situation was unbelievable, and everything just seemed really blah to me on this episode. McDreamy's speech was pretty good, but he is bad for her, he is married, and the whole situation is painful for his wife. Just cause she cheated on him doesn't mean the whole Meredith thing is okay. Plus, Fin is just so cute.

On another note, I really enjoyed 6 degrees, the show that came on after!

I Loved it! I love how Addison found Meredith's panties in McDreamy's suit coat and posted them up on the board. I wonder how he'll end it wit her.

Izzie just made my heart break the entire episode. I did like how they kept asking if it was Shiva even though Izzie is cathlolic.

Cannot wait for the rest of the season.

Oh and I loved the flashbacks or Addison and Derick when he kicked her out, it literally made me cry it was so moving.

Oh and that guy who lost his wife to the plague, what a great performance.

And what's with Dr. Whatserface, I think she thinks she did someting wrong with Denny cause when that guy was saying he wish he'd taken over she said "yeah I wihsI'd taken over to" like she believes she f'd up by letting the interns handle it.

I liked the flashback with Derek and Addison, too. That was so sad. And poor Izzie.

However, I have to disagree about the plague guy who lost his wife. I think that was a weak storyline and I really didn't feel for him at all. It was a little too rushed.

And I love how Addison put the panties up on the board. But she washed and folded them ... weird (I guess dirty ones would be worse, right? EW.).

I cannot wait until next week. Did you guys hear that Canada accidentally was shown the second episode instead of the premiere? I am going to try my hardest not to read about any spoilers!

I could've written this myself. I wonder if Addison will stay or go back to be with McSteamy - after watching the recap that's my vote. Man he is hot!

I am not a major Grey's fan and I only catch it every 3-4 episodes, but here are my thoughts:

-McDreamy is still a McAsshole. His scene with Addison was pretty good, though.

-Meredith is NOT "dark and twisty." She is completely bland and self-centered. She may be my least favorite TV character ever.

-I agree with whoever said last night's guest star (can't remember his name...Eugene from The Practice) was poorly used. He's a great actor, but that storyline was lame-o. Ditto on the "who's this baby's mom?" storyline. (Can anyone tell me why they needed to know the mom's identity so badly? Did the baby need a blood transfusion or something?)

-Sandra Oh is amazing. When I do watch, it's for her. Chandra Wilson is great too.

Halleybird, I totally agree with you about Meredith! I cannot stand her wishy-washy, woe-is-me behavior -- and I like most of the other characters.

I felt my eyes well up when Christina said, "Don't ever die," to Burke. When Christina gets emotional, that's when I lose it.

Overall, I liked it. I think this will be a good season.

Miranda's scenes with the guy whose wife died did nothing for me. I think, with her comment about wishing she had taken over, she meant that she should have done something right away to stop Izzy from getting involved with Denny. Meredith is dumb and McDreamy is a jerk, but I think they will end up together. Besdies, this storyline needs to wrap up soon. I have really started to like Addison and hope she stays on the show. I have decided Alex is my favorite character.

About needing to find out who the baby's mother was, it was because they had given platelets to the baby and the baby didn't respond to them so they needed to test the mother for platelet antibodies--this test cannot be performed on newborns. Still, I felt this was just some excuse to make up a storyline. I don't think the baby was going to die just because she wasn't responding to platelets, though it may have died for some other reason.
