are these boots fugly or practical and somewhat cute for the price?
kenneth cole reaction (nice rubber sole for city walking) $152
picture under pants (probably denim) only....
i need flat boots (i like that these have somewhat of a heel). riding boots don't look right on me and cowboy boots aren't me. i tend to like pointy heels, but these seem more casual than the other pointy heeled ones and i want a more casual boot.
opinions? i won't be offended.

Although not the cutest boots, they will be great for city walking. I bought low rubber wedge Reaction boot last winter and wore them all the time, even though I kind of found them to be ugly. I walk a lot, and the soles were perfect for slick sidewalks. I was never fearful of falling.
they are ideal city walking boots - I have been looking for a new pair for winter travel, and these really fit the bill (can be worn under pants or with tights & skirt) I'm going to have to think about those myself...

I do really like KC Reaction shoes for the walkability factor, but have found them to always be a bit 'off'
I like these Campers (they are really really nice IRL) and have been mulling over the knee-high version for city walking...same idea but a little more expensive at $204. I'd happily pay full price for the quality of Campers but I'd have trouble spending more than $100 on KC Reaction.
while they would be good walking boots, there's something about the toe and that hollowed out arch part that's bugging me. i think you can find something that is as walkable but cuter.
