College Football--Help!!

Ok, I just found out that I get to go to the USC vs. Nebraska game tomorrow with my roommate and her VERY cute brother (whom I've had a crush on forever).  Now, my big dilemna:  WHAT DO I WEAR??  I'm going to be hanging out with him one-on-one for most of the day while she's working so I want to look super cute, but the weather in southern CA has been sort of overcast and chilly the past couple of days so I don't want to be cold.  Then there's the question of whether or not to wear a USC shirt or USC colors.  HELP!!!  :)

I'd wear some jeans and then layering shirts like C&C in the school's colors.  Then some fab earrings and some flats.  Maybe bring a cute hoodie and scarf if it's night game.  Good luck with the cute boy!

I wouldn't wear the colors unless I really wanted to. I wouldn't wear them just cause. I also agree with FP that jeans, flats and some layerable top pieces would be best with more stand out accessories. Don't go out of your element (clothing-wise) because it will probably make you uncomfortable. Good luck!

I'm an SC alum and went to some of the games when I was still in school. I'd say 75% of people wear the colors or actual SC shirts. You can wear other colors, but SC people are just so incredibly brimming with pride and football games are probably the best place to be open about it. You will never see more cardinal and gold in your life (unless it's a USC vs. ASU game and then it's the same colors both sides around)

I got a kids' USC shirt with Snoopy on it and reconstructed it to make it cooler. C&C layering tees or similar are also a good idea, maybe go for some lower-cut tanks with a tight hoodie on top. Some of the girls wear minis to a game and they do look cute so you can do that if you wanted. If you wore a mini I'd dress it down with some Converse or get the Puma H-Streets in the SC colors if you can find them. Definitely wear fab earrings and make sure your hair looks nice. I always think guys notice when a girl has nice hair.

Are you guys sitting in the student section? If you are, WEAR LOTS OF SUNSCREEN (no matter how warm/cold). You could always tell who went to the games and who didn't by whomever was lobster red on Monday during class.

Have lots and lots of fun! I loved going to the games! Fight on!!!!

ETA: I couldn't tell fi you wer an SC student, or just going to the game. If you're not a student, you can relax a bit with the colors.

how lucky! i went to ucla, most girls dressed pretty casually...i wouldn't wear SC colors unless i went there. you'd probably be good with flip flops and either jeans or capris...maybe a cute tee/tank and hoodie, and try to work in some cute accessories...cute necklace or headband?

I think you should wear the colors!  It's a football game!!  You will obviously be cheering for USC so now is the time to show the cute boy that you can be "one of the guys".  I go to college football games most weekends and unless the game is in the deep south (an SEC team) I make fun of girls who dress up.  Have fun- jump, cheer, and support your team!!
