Some girls just don't need much makeup but sometimes it's nice to get all glammed up. I like trying new things to come up with a better look.

I dont usually wear any makeups at all. I put them on for occassions, thats it. I just feel rather overwhelmed with so many options and all that techniques out there. So you're not the only one, I am addicted to clothes, shoes, and purses as well.

Everyday, I only wear foundation/concealor, mascara, and chapstick. I usually only bust out anything extra once or twice a week on Saturday night or something. Even then, it's just eyeliner or something.

I am very simple with my make up. I will spend on my moisturizer, but rarely on my makeup. I did buy the bare essentuals (sp?) foundation and rarely wear it, but the rest of my makeup is loreal, max factor, revlon, cornsilk, and mabelline. I have also used the same mascara, powder liner, brow makeup, lip color (different colors but the same type - lately I've been wearing nude), face powder, and blush for years. It's all in the application to update it, and good tools to apply it with, IMO. I do have a MAC eyeliner brush that wasn't cheap.

I usually don't wear anything and if I do it ends up being either eyeliner or mascara, blush, brozer and gloss. If I am going "crazy" I will put on powder, concealer and eye shadow. I do have many other products that I seldom use, but can't part with in fear that I will need them.

i am the exact same way..

and sflagrl, i felt this way a couple of times and i would go out and try to buy more make up, but i still dont wear any make up at all and i have all this junk makeup in my bathroom, just taking up space.

I'm the same as D, I use something for years and years if I like it. I probably only spend about $15 on makeup each year, and it's just to replace something I've used up.

I never spend money on makeup and when I do, it's just drug store stuff, although I"ve been wanting to try bare minerals.

My morning makeup routine consists of : lotion, loose powder, blush and mascara, oh and some chapstick. I used to wear foundation but ran out a couple of months ago and after not wearing it for a week, I realize I look exactly the same with or without it. So now I'm not wasting money on it anymore.

well thank you to all......just thinking of all of the money spent on all those pretty compacts makes me think of what i could have bought - lots of expensive handbags!!!!!!! i have just promised myself that i will not buy anymore makeup that i think i will use, that in reality will only make me look like i am going trick-or-treating. it is crazy that i lust for lipgloss or eyeshadow and when i finally get it home it goes straight into the drawer - never to be used. sometimes i try to get all dolled up for a night out with my so......i come out of the bedroom and he says what did you do to your face? at least he feels the same as i do!
