i love you. my order for the gray boots somehow never went through. although since i spent a crapload today on tops & sweaters, I'm not sure I should spend it now... argh what to do?

So i missed out on the last discount to buy the coveted boots everyone else got.  I really like the black pair, but i have a nice pair of black boots i bought last year.  Should i get the gray ones... Im just worried they wont be in style next year or the year after?  Also, for those of you with the boots.. how do they look when they are worn under jeans instead of over top?

I had looked at those. I'm worried they'd be too over-the-top though, and I'd get jokes from my coworkers about S&M.

I'll get them if you can think of some outfits for me.

I would call them first to make sure they have your size in stock.  I ordered the black ones when they had the last code and the website let me add them to my cart, but they didn't actually have my size in stock in ANY color.

I think they'd look great with any of these:

I think if they're paired with layers or something more feminine and floaty, they come off as The Most Awesome Vintage Find Evah, instead of Closet S&M Queen.

I just called standard style.  They really couldn't tell me if they are in stock or not.  They said the only thing they can tell me is the same thing found on the website.  The SA also mentioned that these boots are flying off the shelves and people are ordering them faster than the computer can update the inventory.  They are just going to distribute them in a first come first serve manner.


I went ahead and ordered them online.  I just hope my order doesnt get canceled, which I think will happen.
