re-selling something you bought

I just bought a shirt on Ebay that didn't fit in person. Should I tell the seller I'm going to re-sell it, as a courtesy? She seems like a regular Ebay user like me, not someone who's selling tons of stuff all the time like a business or something, which is why I'm wondering. I gave her positive feedback already and she did for me as well.

i don't think you need to let her know, since it's not her (or your) fault it didn't fit as well as you would've liked.  i might include in your auction description that you bought it off ebay, but didn't fit as nicely.  in the rare chance she comes across your auction, this way she'd know why.

if i were that seller, i don't think i'd particularly mind either way... as long as i knew that my item eventually found a good home

I've had to do this before - and I never say anything to the seller. It's pretty nice of you to think of doing it, though. I'm sure she'll be cool w/ it either way.

Thanks for the advice! I'll just go ahead and list it with the inclusion of how I got it and it didn't fit.
