Help?

I'm not sure what my question is, but hoping you girls can help me solve it. Basically, I hate all my clothes and I hate my body, so I hate getting dressed in the morning. Does anyone else feel this way? I'm going on a bit of a diet, so then I can buy some new stuff, but any ideas for getting by in the meanwhile? How can I make super basic stuff fun while I figure out the body / new clothes questions? Thanks in advance for any advice/ideas!

i definitely feel you.  i don't have a solution about the clothes, but i try to have more fun with accessories.  you can fluctuate in weight, but that doesn't affect shoes, bags or jewelry (yippee!)

I personally am of the belief that you should dress for the body you have and not the body you plan on having.

a fun haircut? When I start feeling blah, I change my hair. It's a lot quicker than a diet.

Even if all I do is dye it a different color, I start paying more attention to it and playing with it

Thanks, everyone. I guess I am just trying to figure out how to make my current wardrobe feel "current" because I'm not ready to shop yet. Accessories are a good idea, and I'm trying to do that. Any other ideas of easy changes I could make?

I should clarify that I'm talking about a weight gain of less than 5 pounds over the of the past month or so of a really irregular diet/exercise routine. I'm not planning a total overhaul of my body and dreaming of being a 5'11" supermodel. I've just gained enough that my clothes aren't fitting the way they usually do, and I'm pretty sure that stuff I try on would end up fitting differently after I'm back to my normal size.

Thanks again!
