In my frenzy to order them the other day using the standardstyle code, I accidentally ordered the grey instead of the black that I wanted. I REALLY wanted the black. The grey are cool, but I'm just not sure they're for me.


So, the grey arrived and fit perfectly... of course, the black is out of stock in my size now at Standard Style, Pink Mascara, Shopbop... I don't know anywhere else that carries them. I'm even willing to pay retail if I have to at this point because i them.


What should I do?

Did you try calling Standard Style?  Cause they also have a b&m store so maybe they have some there.  A lot of places keep their online and b&m stock separate.  Just a suggestion, cause I think if you don't love the grey then you need to return them.

I'd return them.  It sounds like you really wanted the black, so you should keep searching for them.  I would almost guarantee your size will show up somewhere - Standard Style sold out once before (before we all ordered them) and they restocked.


I'll keep my eye out for a size 6 for you.

thanks girls! i've been talking to standard style directly and they said they're sold out and they're not expecting another shipment. i guess their website doesn't update in terms of their stock...

Zappos has them in black and a size 6. They're usually really good about inventory and probably wouldn't let them show up as being available if they weren't.

ETA: Apparently if you try to add them to your cart, it then tells you they're sold out, sorry.
