This is officially my first article of clothing that I've made...yeah I know it's not really an article of clothing but it's not a pillow at least!  I know it's an old ladyish material but I was shooting for that vintage feel lol.

Looks like you did a great quality job! I made an apron with my sis about six months ago. (She did most of the work.) I hated doing the ties!

Thanks!

OMG, I know, the ties sucked!  I had to straighten out a wire hanger to poke them back through, it took forever!

It looks well made!  The lace on the pocket is cute!  The ties can definintly be a bitch, they take the most time to make!

This might be a ridiculous question, but did you use a pattern at all or did you just trace the shape yourself? I would love to be able to pick out the fabric for an apron for myself, but I don't know that I trust myself to be able to draw a pattern that I could actually use

I used a pattern, I'd have no idea how to must make it!  It was this pattern:

thanks! I'd have no idea how to just make it, either... but I feel like people who have been sewing for a while could just come up with it, so I didn't know :)
