How to Build Outfits Around This?

I bought this from Anthro a few weeks ago:



It's described as a sweater vest but I'm petite so I plan on wearing it as a sweater dress. It's definitely long enough to be worn as a dress on me (I actually think it might be too long to be worn over jeans).

Anyway, I'm kind of a loss over how to put outfits together with it. Right now, the only outfit I've come up with are the dress and my brown knee-high stiletto boots. So boring, right? Any ideas from you creative, stylish girls? TIA!

For colors I think you could add accessories in green, light blue or pink to punch it up.

I think it would look cute with a 3/4 sleeve blouse underneath it, or with textured tights and heels.

not sure if the sleeves would work but I think this is really cute.

maybe with a clutch and bronze shoes if you want to dress it up?

with a thin long sleeve t-shirt underneath for something more casual?

CC, thanks so much for your help. I love the idea of that blouse with the dress. I would never have thought of that myself but I bet it would be really cute!

Anyone else have any fun ideas? I'm realizing how NOT creative I am :)
