OMG!  Just saw the new Audrey Hepurn for Gap Black Skinny Pants Ad on TV!  Soooo cute!!!!!  Definitely one of the best ads in a long time!!!  love GAP ads - love Audrey Hepburn!

it was cute, but it confused me. isn't she dead? was the person actually wearing the pants somebody different? (I swear I am so blonde sometimes...)

Not to be a downer, but I really did not like the Gap's new commercial. I found it annoying the way they made Audrey Hepburn dance around toAC/DC's "Back in Black." Plus, they used that song like 5 years ago, where the black chick was playing guitar. I'm not a fan of the new pant.

To me it just looked like they modified that footage of her dancing in Funny Face.

subwooley, I'll be even more negative! I don't like the commercial, I don't like Funny Face, and I'm kind of sick of Audrey Hepburn being everyone's fashion idol. And while I love AC/DC I don't like that song in this commercial.

i thought the commercial was o...k.... not my favorite Gap commercial.  and i definitely agree with what you said.

Rock on girl! I love AC/DC too, which is why I probably found the commercial annoying. I was like "No! Please don't make her dance around goofy to AC/DC.

i find it annoying too.  if i was dead, i wouldn't want to be commercialized like so.  She's definitely an icon and now she's the new (dead) face of...GAP????  blah.

I hate this ad.  I don't see Audrey Hepburn doing a GAP commercial if she were alive, and I hate how they have "made" this choice for her.  It actually makes me mad.

Exactly what I thought.  Plus, Audrey was a cute, but classy girl, the commercial made her look like a fool.

I hate this ad:



  1.  I think it's disrespectful to use dead people to sell your product

  2.  I don't like AC/DC (and i'm unable to suspend my disbelief and entertain the thought that Audrey would get down to their music).

  3. Her movement (CGI, yes?) looks so awkward and fake.
