How many bras do you have/use?
Permalink Closed

Now that I've gotten properly fitted and gotten rid all the bras I don't fit into, I only have 4! (I'm buildilng up my bra wardrobe again slowly) I love pretty bras and wish I had mountains of them. Just wondering how many everyone else has. I have:

-nude tshirt bra
-black tshirt bra
-purple one that isn't really my correct size, but the straps are convertible so I can't give it up until I have one that fits
-longline strapless I've only worn once (it has boning that shows through a lot of tops and dresses, and looks goofy)

I also have one convertible bra that I LOVED, but even the small amount of padding it had (just enough to cover me up) has bunched up funny after only a few (hand!) washes and it's not really usable. I keep it in my closet, though, in hopes of one day discovering the secret to fixing it. Any tips would be appreciated

I have 4 favorite styles and about 15 bras for each style. I LOVE lingere, and I always buy more every few weeks.

I also have an addiciton to hanky panky's , so much so that I should find some kind of support group :)

I mostly just have nude bras from Target because they fit me the best, are the most comfortable, and can be worn under everything. I have about 5 in various degrees of padding. Because they're so cheap, I usually throw them out and replenish every few months.

I have a few "special" bras, but I don't really wear those on a day to day basis.

I am a one brand shopper when it comes to bras- wacoal. I have four, and one is black, so I really cant wear it as often as the others in nude. I cant really wear the frilly, pretty bras- I am a 34d and after a few washings and wear seem to loose all support. I would like to though. I need a good strong support bra and Wacoal has the best IMO!

I probably have around 30 bras -- but I only wear four of them regularly! I have an addiction to fun/cute/sexy lingerie and buy far too many matching sets. However, it's my plain old Maidenform One Fabulous Fit bras that I end up putting on day in and day out and then I wear the more fun bras for when I'm doing something special.

Lots!  I love pretty underwear and buy it frequently.  I like to have some variety.  Sometimes, it is the best thing I wear.  I should probably count and sort pretty soon

Too many!  I have about 30, but only wear about half of them regularly.  I buy them in cute colors, but then most of the time I end up wearing my nude ones.  I think that will change when it gets colder and I'm wearing thicker clothes.  My bras are 100% VS, but I want to find a new brand, just to save some money. Their bras are so expensive! I'd rather spend the money on clothes.

I have 3 that I absolutely love, 4 more or so that are decent, and then another 4 or so that are just 'eh'.  All the ones that I love are the same brand, and now that I've found that brand and my size I'm going to continue to build up my stash.

My 2 VS bras do the wonky padding bunch too - I usually just hold the cup in both my hands and try to smooth out the lining with my thumbs, working from the center out.

I have about 30 (so in theory I could go a month without washing), but I only end up wearing about 3 or 4 in black and nude. I have all kinds of colors and fits. I have the sexy ones, but I find those less comfortable, and comfort always wins for me. I also do not have a real reason to wear the pretty ones.

I have a whole drawer full, Rigby & Peller, Panache, Fantasie, Lise Charmel, and more.  I find that I wear about 6 of them often in the summer as they are smooth molded ones that work with summer fabrics but wear the pretty lacy ones more often in the winter.

I also have a hanky panky addiction.  I think I am up to about 12 colors.  I bought two pairs of the commando thong recently but bought m/l and should have bought the s/m but I really like them even though they are even more expensive than the hanky panky.

I love buying new lingerie.  I haven't been dating much in the past few years and it makes me feel pretty and sexy.

I have 4 bras that are really nice and that I can wear under everyday clothes. I have two others that I can wear day to day, but it depends on the shirt (they shape they have is kinda weird). I have one that's fancy and I can't really on just any given day. I too love lingerie, especially fun underwear.

Where did you go? I really want to do this but with my weight fluxuating I'm not wanting to spend a fortune on bras & then loose more boobs. But I have to do something.

Hmmmm.....I have about 6 or so bras, and I wear 2, maybe 3, the most. I like to wear my water bra every now and again, for obvious reasons (makes the boobs look awesome!). LOL I haven't been professionally fitted in a while, probably need to go again....... I buy most of mine from Wal-Mart, but the water bra was from Freddie's.

Everytime someone talks about a water bra, I think of that episode of Will & Grace where Grace sprung a leak. Hehe.

Anyway, I have probably about 6. Two of them are fabulous and I love them. Another is marginally acceptable. One is strapless and two of the other ones would be better off in the nearest trash can. The two that I really like are from H&M. I love their lingerie, especially b/c it's cheap and I can't stand to spend money on underwear of any kind.

My well-endowed best friend (she's a DD) gave my then small B-cup self a water bra from VS for my 16th birthday. Those were the days.

as for the issue at hand, I have around 12 bras. I love maybe four of them (five if you want to count the Nike sports bra). I am in love with my Le Mystere Dream Tisha t-shirt bra which manages to dissapear under boys' wifebeaters while giving the most amazing shape and support. I'm also a big fan of their strapless. There's also a good bra from Vanity Fair I got years ago that still is doing a pretty good job and also a good VS bra from the Angels collection.

I have about 4 Body by VS bras that do the 'wonky padding thing'. I am going to throw them in the nearest trash can once I acquire a sufficient Le Mystere Dream Tisha collection. Really, IMHO, this bra is that good.

I also have the some of the pretty, lacy, frilly Agent Provocateur stuff, but that's not exactly for everyday wear.

Ooooh, I'm glad to hear you say that. I've just ordered one, I can't wait for it to come! I was kind of nervous because in the pictures it looks like it has the potential to be big and scary...so it's reassuiring to hear a vote for it
