never heard of them. not sure where you are going or trying to go to but I'm flying southwest for the first time on sunday so I'll let you know how that goes. I've heard good things about jet blue and air tran. I've heard really bad things about Delta lately (cancelling your flight without notice, rescheduling you at bad times, etc) so you might want to be wary of them.
Southwest is great! For some reason, I'm cool w/Southwest and I LOVE jetblue ( i appreciate the fact that all their planes are brand new and they cut costs by using lower-rent terminals and airports)
Airtran scares me ever since the plane crash in the Everglades (they used to be called something else and changed their name after the crash)
The place I'm flying to, Spirit & Northwest are the only options... The flight on Northwest is approx $800 and on Spirit it's $300. I just think: Where are they cutting costs and what safety are they compromising?!
hmm I just looked up their website and they don't fly to too many places so I don't know. maybe that's why they are cheap right now? Maybe undercutting the competition to get people to try them and then once they get bigger their prices will go up?
I flew nwa a few months ago and it was hell. I don't recommend them right now.
Whenever I was at school in South Carolina I flew spirit because it was the cheapest option, and I think I was going to philadelphia. It was a few years ago so I can't remember any of the details. But I guess it couldn't have been too bad if I don't remember anything being completely horrible or weird. Hope that helps.

I'm from MI originally and have family in FL, so I've flown Spirit a few times. They have limited routes and tend to focus on vacation travel to warm spots. They are pretty much like a smaller Southwest- a no-frills airline, but they are reliable.
