I tend to be a little off the mark when buying vintage dresses from ebay cause I get so blinded by the good deals. I can't figure out if this dress would be sixties elegant on me, or just plain huge. Maybe I'm thrown off by the mannequin's kicky Stepford updo, but I'm loving the 3/4 sleeves and stand-up collar and overall Holly Golightly vibe. Thoughts?

It does have a loose look about it, but I think that gives it a modern feel.  What is the fabric content?  That is what concerns me the most about 60's fabrics, because it is usually a stiffer fabric.  It can make you feel like you are wearing a pair of drapes

It's cute, but I think it could possibly require some tailoring (either on the sides to make it a tad narrower or in the length to make it a mini).  If you're willing to do that should the need arise I think you should get it .

I think it is pretty and would look good on you, but would probably require some tailoring. It does look a little wide.

I think with a bit of tailoring to narrow the top sides, it would be awesome!
