i think it looks totally adorable and i don't think it looks too tight, as long as your comfortable in it, i say keep it!

If there were a bigger size, yeah, that's what I would assume. It seriously doesn't feel tight at all..it just pulls the tiniest bit at the chest, but the waist band thing fits PERFECTLY.
Anyway, this is F21, and they only go up to a large - which sometimes isn't very large at all.
oh man it's so cute. i would def see if there's room to move the button. otherwise, if your local f21 still has em, maybe try another large? they are pretty inconsistent...
were you planning on thios being you main coat or just an occasional thing? I wonder if wearing a minimizer bra might give you enough extra room to make it lay flat? It so cute...I really want it to work for you!
I agree that it looks a bit tight in the chest. Damn! Otherwise it's fabulous on you. I'd check with a tailor before returning and see if there's an easy fix for the problem. Otherwise, I'd return it and look for something even more fabulous. :)

I definitely agree with the suggestion to try another large in the store... Personally I think that it's just barely too tight and I may not have noticed if you hadn't said something, so it seems like you should be able to find a more generously cut large in the store that will work.
I have that jacket and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. You have to keep it and make it work. I bought my regular size and it is a little snug in the chest, but I think if I sized up, it would be way too big. I think, the way it is designed, it should be fitted on top and flare out toward the bottom.

Ditto.
Plus, do you plan on wearing it buttoned up all the time? Because if it will be unbottoned most of the time I don't think it would be a problem.

I came, I saw, I did a little shopping.
Took the coat to my seamstress last night and she said she can give me an extra inch w/ the extra material available. I think that should be enough. Fingers crossed!

yay!!
i might want to look into this too... do you know what she's doing to it?
Yeah, letting out the seems on the sides and around the shoulders - there's some extra material there. She's also moving over the buttons a tiny bit. Overall, it's about an inch. She said ideally she'd be able to take it out 1.5 inches, but there wasn't enough material.
