So I've noticed several versions of shoes "inspired by" the Paddington line this fall.
There's the Franco Sarto, which I like the least because it's such a literal knock-off:
then there's Banana's, which is a very similar design but isn't trying to reproduce it exactly. I like the shape of the toe better. Banana's, however, is $30 more. Is anyone familiar with Banana's sales--will these go on sale before all the sizes sell out, or will I get screwed if I wait?
I've seen the Franco Sarto ones-- I'd ordered them in pewter from the Nordstrom's anniversary sale and in person just didn't like them. I thought they looked cheap, and returned them. Now that I know they're knock-offs it seems even worse!
