Hi again,


I know I am obsessing about this but it is a ball and I want to look "right".  I am wearing this dress to a ball next Saturday.

I have two pairs of new shoes.  The first is a soft gold and looks like a taupe/grey colorwash over top giving a gold/grey/silver look.  It pinches a tiny bit on my small toe but I'm pretty sure a band-aid would take care of it.

Shoe two is ivory fabric with platinum edging (looks like a very soft gold).  It is more open and feels a touch better.  The heels are about the same height.

Which shoe do you think works best and will be more versatile.  My other formal dresses are a black with black beads, deep teal with black detail, black velvet with silve and gold metal at waist, and I have a red silk and wedgewood blue silk, and beaded black silk cocktail dress.

Thanks everyone.  I think I'll take a quick look around when I return shoe #1 but will likely wear shoe #2.  I did find one more pair and they were more of a pewter strappy sandal but I plan to dance a lot and they just weren't as stable without the closed heel.

I like #2 the best too.


By the way, that dress looks great on you!  The color is gorgeous!
