I personally don't like it but you do which outweighs my opinion more than anything.

From my angle, it looks more glossy than it is patent so it's hard to know what it's really like. You can consider it understated glossy handbag.

It seems like a good basic but not a standout item. I agree that it just looks glossy not patent. I'm on the fence about it. I guess it depends on the price.

I think it's just over $200, so it's too much for something I'm on the fence about.

Basically, I'm lost about what color purse to get to go with the jacket in question, which is very dark green corduroy. The search continues...

As far as what color purse to go with that jacket, I would say dark brown, camel, burgandy, rust or even a mauve/rose suede would go. Guess it really depends on what is going under said jacket.

As for this purse, I'm not feeling it, epsecially not for that price. Have you checked out any Tano bags? Or are you wanting something more structured?
