gel nails...

what exactly is that? i usually get my nails done in pink and white but im curious as to what gel nails are. is it really expensive?

mine are about $5-10 more per fill than acrylic, but they last longer and look much more natural - they're alot thinner. also they're not as bad for your nail at all. it's a goopy liquid they brush on, then you put your nails under a dryer and the gel turns solid. it's pretty great- i'll never go back to acrylics!

Ditto - everything twinkle said!  I my gels.  So natural and nice looking.

Yep - I usually go every 2, sometimes 3, weeks.
