I was one of those poor souls that wore flourescent head to toe.  That must have been in junior high sometime.  Where has time gone? I remember all of these things like it was just a few years ago.  Thanks for the flashback!

I think I said yes to pretty much all of these. Oh the Care Bears and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air... classics.

I just got this in an email this morning and spent quite a few minutes laughing my ass off. The really really sad thing is that I'm still signing "Shot throught the heart, and you're to blame, baby, you give love a bad name" in my head! And I live in West Philly and can't tell people that without immeaditly signing the WHOLE entire theme song in my head. "West Philadelphia, born and raised, at the playground where I spent most of my days..."

Yeah, I've had "Shot Through The Heart" in my head since I opened this thread a few hours ago.

Great list, but there are ZERO references to George Michael, who I thought I was going to marry when I was younger.

Ahhh, I can still remember the scent of my Stawberry Shortcake toy like it was yesterday....

I related to about 97% of that stuff.

Yep, I could answer yes to every single question (I even had a mullet when I was 8--aaaaaah!!!!).  The sad thing is, I remember the line after 'I've fallen and I can't get up,' as well. That would be, 'Help is on the way, Mrs. Fletcher.' Oy.

And yeah, I'm totally singing 'Shot Through the Heart' in my head right now.  But I don't still sing 'We are the World.' Okay, so I can answer yes to all but one of those.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!!! I did the playing card in the bicycle spokes thing. That was sooooo cool! And what about fanny packs? Even better in flourescent colors!

My mom threw my beloved Strawberry Shortcake dress away when I was in kindergarten because I wore it to rags.  It was devastating!

I can say yes to almost all of these! In reference to seeing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the theater, I once met the guy who played Raphael! He was in the turtle suit! Raphael had been my favorite so I was extra impressed by this.
