i think we've done this poll before.


so, what were your must-have, go-tos that got you through the summer? 


 i got these last year and i still love them.


 i love love love these.  they make me feel a bit more upscale than just wearing basic flip flops. 


 cheap 'ol old navy tank that's a c&c knockoff


 these gap bermudas. 


 sweetees dress that i got on major clearance from revolve.

Here's my list:



  • JCrew khaki bermuda shorts
  • Light beige linen, short sleeve blazer from F21. It's got beading, embroidery and mini-ruffles
  • Kenzie 'Stunner' WedgesKenzie Women's Stunner

My cost per wear on these three items is seriously down to pennies.

Definitely these little sandals, but in bronze:



I got them for only $34.99 from Shoes.com and wore them all the time. Whenever I wore them I got a shocking number of complements!

Also, my C & C tank dresses, Generra bermuda shorts and various white tops.

I think mostly what I wore last year!  Color trousers, white Gap hoodie that I've had for at least 3 years, brown leather slides, white mocs that I got this year.

I've worn these Seychelles sandals all summer. They're slightly too large but thanks to the straps that's not a problem.





And then there's my dark brown Banana chevron skirt I got last year. I've gotten so much use out of it.

My shoes are what got me through the summer.

These were my go-to dress-up sandals:
Mid Heel Sandal

The ivory MJs a few of us have were my "occasion" shoes (showers/weddings)

As far as clothes:

* James Perse white dress, James Perse brown dress, C&C black dress
* Vince white crochet top, C&C tees, Ella Moss tops
* Juicy denim bermudas, Juicy twill bermudas, COH Skull & Bunny mini, TR Johnnys in dark blue (not summery but I have worn these a ton and will continue to as the weather cools).

As far as accessories, it was my beige/gold MJ sunglasses, and my luggage Kooba Sienna that I wore almost daily!

Target Dress- I have a cute black belt that looked perfect with this! Great date night outfit.


J.Crew Skirt...I was a J.Crew Whore this summer!


J.Crew Gauze Dress- I wore this almost everyday on my honeymoon! I could have brought a smaller bag!


J.Crew Shorts- I would dress these up with a black top and gold espadrilles for casual nights out.


After planning a pink and green wedding, I had to give it a rest and wore this blue polo more than my other polos this summer.

Steven Bonnano Sandals- These are the original ones that Jackie O wore, not Jack Rogers. They are more comfortable also.


This is an old necklace but it seemed to be my go to this summer.


After thinking about this I really need a new purse because I have been carrying this one since last fall and I really don't like it. It is annoying because I have to hold it and it is hard to find things inside.
