make up and blow drying. Which do you do first?

I do my makeup first, then blowdry my hair. I feel like my face moisturizer & makeup goes on more smoothly when I've just gotten out of the shower.

I blow dry my hair and then put my makeup on. It gets so hot w/the dryer on, I feel like my makeup sweats off if I put it on first.

I hate doing my hair so sometimes I just put it off till the last minute. Ideally, or if I need to look really good, I do my hair first because I have to dry on high/hot and I get really hot and my nose tends to sweat

So I guess it's whatever mood I happen to be in.

Ditto. Our bathroom gets to be like a sauna when I'm drying my hair, especially in the summer, so I have to wait until I'm done with the hair before I put on my makeup.

I have sort of a weird routine, but as soon as I get out of the shower in the morning, I blowdry and throw on sweats. After breakfast, then I put on makeup. (Mostly concealer and blush :). My food is much more important in the morning than my hair or makeup!

Even without the sweating problem, I just feel like using a hair dryer could melt my makeup with its own heat. I've always hear to do your makeup after your hair.

i have naturally curly hair that i straighten a lot. if im going to straighten my hair, i'll dry it, put on makeup then straighten it. if im leaving it curly or pulling it up i'll put on makeup before dealing with my hair. i figure if i run out of time and have to head out i can always put my hair in a ponytail and at least i'll have makeup on.

It depends on how wet it is and how much time I have. If I think I might not have enough time, I do makeup first and pull my hair up. If I have all the tiem in the world, I dry first. When my hair isn't wet though, I always do makeup and hen hair. No idea why. I guess I think I look better with a nice face and messy hair than with nice hair and a messy face.

I do my makeup first. I like to keep my hair out of my face, wet and wrapped in a towel while I do my makeup. Then I blow dry and I'm done!

ditto. except for the days I use hot rollers. I'll put on moisturizer then blow dry my hair and roll it so it can "bake" while I'm putting on my make up. it's all about time management

I do makeup first for two reasons:

-I don't like putting makeup on a dirty face, and I feel like even after 10 minutes my face is dirty.
-After showering I am hot and use makeup application time to cool down.

It takes me all of 3 minutes to dry my hair anyway, so it's not like my makeup will melt off.

i have to blow dry my hair first otherwise my hair is partially dry and i can't get it to do certain things. for ex. i have a little cowlick on the front of my hairline and unless my hair is completely wet when i start blowdrying that area, i can't get it to lay flat.

Well, I kinda do both. I get out of the shower and do my skincare, then I put on my foundation. I like how it goes on right after my moisturizer. Then I blow dry and put my hair in velcro rollers and apply my eye makeup while those are setting. Like D said, it's all about time management

Oh, I also blowdry my hair in a separate bathroom/room than I take a shower in, I think this helps to manage the heat since it isn't combining the heat of the blowdryer with the humidity of the shower.

I do makeup, then blowdry if I'm going to. My hair dries pretty quickly because it's fine, so it's already about halfway dry by the time I'm finished putting makeup on, getting dressed, eating - takes about 3 minutes under the blowdryer then.

I don't blow dry. My hair is very thick, and I don't have the patience to spend the 20 minutes it would take to blow dry. I like the natural wave when it dries naturally anyway.
