Need your advice---I bought this bag by Anna Corinna I'd like to take it to Thailand and Malaysia.  We'll be hitting the cities, a couple beaches, small villages and doing lots of biking. Do you think this bag is a good idea or should I bring something less bling? Thanks a bunch in advance!!

I haven't been to Thailand since 1998, but the last time I was there my mom had a vintage Gucci logo tote that was knifed through by a pickpocket while she was waiting in line for the restroom. They took her wallet and even though we went to the police and everything it was never returned.


I think that bag is a little large, and the slocuhiness invites pickpocketers to knife your bag. I'd also be concerned about the drawstring opening.


I would bring something that is sturdier as well.
