Ok so these shoes literally make my heart hurt I want them so bad and my DH is pushing me to buy them but will I be able to wear these years to come or because they are very bootie like they'll be gone next year? I already own Louboutin basic black pumps as well as the platform patent leather ones so I have black shoes already but none like this!! So to buy or not to buy that is the question.

well, you can hang on to them and they'll be back in style in 20 years


also, keep in mind we are fairly ahead of the fashion curve - I find that a lot of things we buy at the break of a trend tend to last for a couple of years (giving it time to hit the main stream). just because a trend becomes more mainstream doesn't mean it's "out."


also, if hitting the mainstream means "out" to you, then you can sell them to the mainstream on e-bay and put the money toward something else...

Those won't go out of style. They are a funky twist on the classic pump and I can imagine wearing those with suits, dresses and anything you want to "pop." plus, they're Christian Loubatin's for goodness sake. the man is a genious.

I think they're beautiful and in a way classic and unique. I think you could wear them even if they're not "trendy." I also liked D's advice about selling them to the mainstream on eBay if it becomes too trendy or "out" for you.

Okay, so you want them and your DH is pushing you to buy them and you're wondering if you should?!?!?  Girl!  Get them!


They're normally not my style, but I actually really like them.  And I think D's right--you can wear them now and sell them on eBay later if you want.  But I can envision them being stylish for a long time.

Umm, yeah...so what's the problem??JK I say get them.  I don't see those becoming too main stream (but what do I know ).  I think they will look edgy and cool. Get them.
