I received an invitation to a fashion show yesterday and I need help on what to wear. The graduate level students at an art/design school in San Francisco are presenting their works at one of the tents in Bryant Park. Although it's not a big name designer, it is still fashion week and I'm excited about the whole thing. I have no clue what I should wear. I'd love to wear jeans, but I don't know if that's the best option. Help! Any ideas?
lucky you! going to a fashion show is one of my dreams. new york magazine has a little feature now with pictures of celebs who sat in the front row at the last shows -- could be useful for inspiration:
I've been to a few non-tent, small designer shows and I think you will be fine in jeans. The first few shows I went to I got really stressed out about wearing something different and fabulous (though I was also going to be seeing a lot of old friends so that just made things more nerve wracking!) and as a result I was not really comfortable. I think somthing simple like jeans and a solid top and a stand-out accessory or jeans with a beautiful patterned top would be great.
