Okay, so right now I am wearing a tshirt and shorts.  Why, you ask?  Because I have no clothes that are appropriate for class. 


I need help finding clothes that are casual but cute that I can wear walking around campus in HOT weather.  I really need to go shopping.  Can anyone help me find some pieces/ideas for stuff that I can wear that is cute but not too over the top for a campus where most people wear the aforementioned tshirt and shorts?  I feel so shlumpy .

here are some cute pieces casual tops and short denim bottoms and add some accesories hope this helps just a little bit!





you could also wear a causal dress



or like a cute printed tank and a denim skirt and cute flats?

I was contemplating posting the same question... and I Love that tank deadlyjane! I know it was for theotherjess, but thank you from me

I'm in the same boat, now that school started I feel like I don't have a lot, and I'm waiting for it to cool down so I can start layering and mixing things up. This week I've mostly been wearing cute tanks and jeans, or a plain tank with a skirt. I'm already in a rut. I was admiring this skirt on a friend yesterday, which actually looks a lot better IRL IMO.



I think it could be good now, but it could also be paired with a 3/4 length shirt for early fall.

I'll agree that they're not oustandingly stylish or beautiful. But that's kind of the point - all my friends, and most people on campus, and pretty casual. It's kind of hard to walk the line of looking cute without looking like I tried too hard!

I'm in the same boat because I just started law school, after working for several years, and all I have are work clothes, no class clothes.  Anyway, here are a few things I bought this summer specifically for school and I've been happy with them.  I also bought some things at F21 and I wasn't so sure about them when I bought them but now I love them and they're very class appropriate, so like Aurora said, you might want to check there.
