shoes for this dress *added a few options*

i'd need a pair of shoes to wear with this dress to a wedding. i'm thinking something metallic or black (although i think i'd get more use out of a metallic pair later on) definately strappy, sexy, going out-fancy... you get the idea. i'd like to spend $150 or less. any ideas? thanks! i have a few i'm going to post later on to get opinions on as well (but i'm out of time right now) THANKS!

i'm sorry, did you ask me this before? (or was it someone else?) either way, i don't think i ever responded. the shoes are kate spade. i bought them at saks (on sale!) BUT it was in 2003. they are called "lara" in case you want to look for a pair on ebay

I have been coveting these french connection shoes. They might work or they might be too busy. I keep thinking a pointy toe shoe would look best as well. I do think an understated bronze would be a great color though.

gorgeous shoes! i like the muted bronze idea. i was also thinking pewter would be good. also thinking open toe or peep toe since anything pointy toe might resemble what i already own in the picture. i think you need to come to my house and dress me for this wedding (please?) i think all of your opinions and suggestions that you've given me so far are right on.

I don't like the dress with a sandal that looks too strappy. I'm not sure why. I just think it would be better with something not as strappy. Like:
