ehhh, I'm still in school and living off of a part time job... so I usually spend $15-20, if I really love them I'll pay $35. I'm cheap about shoes

Mine range from $4- $200. The cheapest being the clearanced ones from Dept. stores or Target and the most expensive being boots. I'm really hared on my shoes so I have to really LOVE a pair to pay over $40.

The vast majority of my shoes are $50 - $70 and I have maybe two or three pairs that I paid around $150.

I usually only buy one pair of boots every year and they tend to run around $300.

i don't have a ton of shoes or boots so i tend to spend a little more on a pair knowing that i'll only be buying 1-2 pairs instead of 7-8 pairs. don't get me wrong — i love a deal as much as the next girl, but i usually spend $100-150 on a pair of shoes and about $150-300 on a pair of boots.

Shoes: around $300

I love shoes. I love expensive shoes. I don't buy them full price, but I have a couple of pairs that clock in at around $500 retail. I want shoes that will last since my shoe size will most likely never change.

Boots: around $200

Boot shopping is so frustrating because of my muscular calves. I can't ever wear a pair of high end boots because the shaft is far too slim. I can keep purchases down here much more easily because 75% of the stuff I like won't fit me at all. It helps that in Los Angeles, I can get away with wearing shoes all year.

Shoes : $65 - $450

Boots : $200 - $500

I usually buy designer shoes that retail in the $500's - $700's on ebay and bluefly for about $250 a pair.

I have a huge shoe obsession, and treat my shoes like a collection. I take care of them and they look great for years.

Usually somewhere between $50-$150. I'm really hard on shoes, but I've found that the more expensive ones still wear much, much better than ones I find for $30 or less. That said, if a shoe is really, really trendy (like the platform heels that are everywhere this season), I won't spend more than $50 on them. If something is timeless, I'll spend up to $300.

For boots, I've paid $350, which I think is okay, since I've had those in my closet for about 8 years and I still love them.

the most i ever spent on shoes was $800 on a pair of jeweled rene caovilla strappy sandals.  i posted about them, obsessed about them, and even carried them on the plane w/ me to nyc earlier this year so i could show the nyc stylethread girls when we all met up.  and because they all rock and wouldn't dream of judging me, they totally understood that i *had* to have them and validated my purchase

about $300.  i like to have nicer jewelry, shoes, and handbags and let those shine over my basics.  but a lot of times i try to find my Kors, Marc Jacobs, etc... on ebay for about $200.

for boots, i have two price points.  nice ones, and replace every year ones.  the nice ones don't see the snow and lots of city blocks.  the replace every year ones hit the snow and lots of miles in the city and usually are nine west.

i'm really hard on my shoes, and have found that pricier shoes tend to wear better and hurt my feet less. obvs this isn't true in all situations, but overall it tends to be the trend.

that being said there's a big difference b/t what i'll pay for a shoe and what it may be worth. i probably average around $100-$150 for shoes that are worth $200-$300. this is mainly for pricier brands bought on sale.

for less expensive brands i'll tend to pay around $50 -$60, this price point includes mid range brands (like irregular choice and dolce vita) that retail for around $100-$150.

for really pricey brands i'm willing to spend about $200, but this depends on the shoe and how much i want it. i've spent that much on two pairs of chloe shoes (boots and some platforms) that retailed for well over $600.

I don't let myself spend a lot of money on shoes.  They touch the ground and get dirty!  I probably have never spent more than $70 on a pair of shoes.  Usually $30-$50 is my range.

too much. I am a total shoe-whore. But, I'm pretty easy on them and find that they last ages with the proper upkeep. And I try to buy on sale as often as I can, but have also been known to make $400 impulse buys when I fall in love.

I average $75-100 per pair, but I always end up giving in to temptation and making an impulse buy on cheaper shoes (under $50) and then regretting it b/c they don't hold up as well.

I need to just suck it up and spend a bit more on a good pair of boots, but I always freak out when spending that much b/c I'm afraid I won't like them in a year.  For some reason, I find boots harder to purchase than pumps!  Boots seem to change more each season.

Shoes = $50-$100

Boots = $100-$200

I just can't justify spending a ton of money on something that touches the dirty ground all day.

Hmmm....for shoes - up to $70.00, and boots, depending on how much I like them - maybe $100-$150.00. As much as I love shoes, I just can't see spending a lot of money on them.
