While cleaning out my closet this weekend, I realized that I have almost no patterned, pretty tops. It's a major hole. Since I wear mostly trousers or skirts during the work week, and almost exclusively jeans during the weekend, pretty tops will give me a lot of mileage and will meet my new goal of having clothing that can easily work both for work and play.
So, I've been browsing around the different sales, and came up with a few ideas: What do you think?
copper lace blouse:
Another but in green:
This might be a bit over the top for the office, but I would wear it with a very plain cream colored skirt...or maybe it would be better as a weekend piece, but I'm really drawn to the colors:
The copper lace top is so pretty! And I love the last one just as much, but I think you're right that it's a little too much for the office, even though it's gorgeous. Since you're just starting to fill the hole, maybe hold off on the last one.

Well, I'm the wrong person to ask about wearing appropriately conservative things at the office but I REALLY love the last one and I think it would look beautiful on you.

Same here! ITA with all of this!
(but I'm with Collette and I too think you need them all )
I am close to buying them all...I will then have to practice all the fabulous combinations that I can create with them...but darn, now that I have posted, I can't imagine not getting any!
If you can't get all three right now, then I say go with the first one. It looks like it would be the most versatile. Then get the other two when you can.
