Sorry but now that I think I've picked the dress, I need some advice on accessories. The shoes are high deep pewter sandals with a small platform but I could wear black or even soft gold instead?? I was going to wear antique looking silver chandelier earings and probably either a black or antique looking hair clip. Since the dress is pretty glam, should I just carry a plain black satin clutch or try to get one in a metal tone that is close to the shoe?
you look amazing! i'd probably go w/ a more delicate shoe though, like a very strappy sandal. as for the clutch, what purses do you currently own that you think would go? i like the idea of a small, beaded, vintage (or vintage-looking) clutch, do you have anything like that? if you need to buy a clutch, what price range do you want to stay within?
great dress! i would wear the soft gold or the pewter but not the black shoes, too dark
and this may seem over the top, but what about a pair of white elbow length gloves? ok, they're a little dramatic i admit, and maybe this isnt the ball to wear them at, but wouldnt it be fun? how often does a grown woman get to wear gloves out, really? but thats me, i like to be eclectic
