Interview at Anthro: What to wear?
Permalink Closed

I TRULY want to snatch a job working at Anthro. I applied already and they told me that I should be hearing from them before end of next week  so I kind of want to prepare myself ahead of time.

What heck do I wear to the interview!?  It will be my very first time to work in retail industry. Help me out here please? I do not have many anthro clothes. I own a lot of casual clothes and just started adding some business attire for my work in the Government department.

I'd dress like the current SAs do - most of the time when I went in there they'd be wearing full skirts and a cute blouse, or cropped pants and a cute blouse or sweater, etc.  Maybe not as eclectic as you could go because it is still an interview.  So, pretty, maybe a tad quirky, with a tad of clean/professional?

Elle, I could totally see an Anthro SA wearing #3! Great outfit.

Awesome ideas wow.  One thing, I am pear-shaped. I cant wear those pencil skirts or skinny jeans/pants. I refuse to wear leggings. I do not fit in forever21 bottoms. They re too small  I ll opt for skirt or dresses instead. Any ideas? U think I can get away with long tunic dress with slim dark blue jeans undereath with flats or heels?

One more thing,  I have waist length very wavy hair (yep, very long hair). Should I leave it down or put it up in a bun with scarf or headband on my head?

No on the bun idea.

I like the way the chicky above looks. Maybe you can do something like that. And she's off the Anthro site, they'd prob love it. Or if you saw the pic on the front of the Anthro site, they like long way hair...Either way, you should be good. What are you more comfortable with?
