Express Stylist Pant
Permalink Closed

Was browsing thru mall today with specific items in mind, and as passed Express, I thought "why not look- havent been in one in over a year". Overall not impressed, but tried on a couple of items that I was pleased with. Really loved the Express Stylist pant. Loved the fit and they seemed to be very well made for 59.99. Has anyone else tried this style and liked it? I used to buy the Editors, a few years back- but when I tried them-last time I was in- they seemed to be different, and the fabric not as nice as they had been. But, this Stylist Pant was nice. Didnt buy because they didnt have my size in long, which I would need if I was going to wear a heel with. But, plan on going to another mall nearby to pick up this weekend. Has anyone else tried them?

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm curious.  How does the fit differ from the Editor?  Is it a straighter leg?

Yeah, the fit really well. For some reason they have changed the quality of the editor ... not sure why. :(

Yes, it is very different from the Editor. It has a more fitted shape in the hip and leg- and just has a slight flare. It feels to me that it is also a "heavier, more substantial fabric" and has a lower rise.

I have a pair of white Stylists and I love them.

The Stylist is a slimmer pant.  They are always a bit too tight for me around my thighs.  As far as the fabric goes, though, I have a lot of different pairs of Editors and some feel like a "lighter, flowier" fabric while others feel like a "heavier, more substantial" one.  They make them in all different "fabrics types (for lack of a better term!)."

I love the fit of the leg -- perfect, flattering straight cut. But every pair I tried did a weird bunchy-crotch thing on me.
