 so as you all know that i've been looking for this bag.  is this bag a classic? do you think its worth it for me to spend 1500 on the bag? and is it worth my time to look for the bag? i need a white bag but if I'm going to spend this much on a bag, i want it to be a classic for years to come.

Others may have different opinions, but I don't think that bag is a classic: it's so bold and graphic and such a distinctive design that I think it will be very much associated with this particular moment in fashion. When I think of a "classic," I think of something simpler and more timeless, a little more traditional. That's not to say this isn't a great bag, cause it is, but no, I don't think it's a classic.


Also, I think it might be a mistake to spend so much $$ on a white bag... especially a white patent bag... it will be hard to keep it looking beautiful long enough to let it earn its keep.
