Has anyone tried Weight Watchers without going to meetings?

I want to try WW just to get better at eating (I have been consuming pure junk lately), but I want to know if the meetings really help. It is going to be hard for me to find time to go to them.

Thanks!

I'm doing WW Online right now.  So far I really like it.  I think that going to meetings would be helpful because I'm much more inclined to do well when I know that others are holding me accountable, but the website gives you all the information you need, plus there's a great community section.

Aurora, jesstillman, laken1, and ilovechoo are also doing WW without meetings and we've all been posting our daily and diet and exercise.  It's great for support and you're more than welcome to join us.

Thanks, Sarah.

Have you been successful so far? I am just wondering if I will actually lose anything.

I do WW, but I go to meetings. I tried to do it withouth, but i really need the accountability of knowing that someone else will know if I screw up. That's just me though- I know tons of peoplewho have lost great on their own!

Killa, I'm doing ok.  It's really hard for my to gauge weight loss right now.  My weight isn't much lower but I think that's because I'm rebuilding a lot of the muscle I lost when I was pregnant and less active.  However, my clothes are fitting better and that's important.  I've only been doing WW for two weeks but I think it's pretty easy to stick to because you get to eat whatever you want as long as you stay within a certain point rage.  Like I'm having McD's for lunch today and I don't feel awful about it because what I'm getting is only 9 points. But if your main concern is the nutritional value and quality of the food you eat, you may want to try core instead of flex.  Core promotes healthy foods while flex lets you eat whatever you want as long as you don't exceed points.
