One of my cat's has been having dry skin and shedding more than normal. I'm wondering if maybe she's missing vitamins in her current food. Does anyone know of a good cat food that is good for their skin and coat. Or any other suggestions. Thanks
Purina One is supposed to be good for a shiny coat. I used to feed it to my dog and it was good for her. My cat eats Purina indoor formula- she gets sick if she eats anything else.

My cat started shedding noticably less when I started feeding her science diet ( I get it from petsmart). She also used to throw up a lot, not hairballs, she'd just throw up and that's completely stopped since I switched her food.
If she is older - you might want to take her to the vet. That happened with my cat (12 y.o.) and turns out that her kidneys are failing. We caught it sooooo early and have through special food been able to dramatically slow the progression. Better to be proactive....
I hope your kitty is OK. My gut would be to take her to the vet first, just to make sure it's not a symptom of something else, but maybe ask for recommendations about food and vitamins as well?
